Video: Beyond Re-Factoring - preparing legacy code for the future
The term Refactoring has evolved since Fowler first introduced the term in his 1999 book of the same title. In that spirit of evolution, this session will discuss concepts and techniques of evolving our legacy MultiValue applications so as to position them to better operate in the modern environment of web access to data, services to provide data to external non MultiValue systems and accept processing requests from those systems, and other functions.
It's a shame to throw away thousands of lines of unique business logic that was developed over years to provide your company a valuable competitive advantage not found in “standardized” one-size-fits all applications packages.
