Kore Technologies announced its membership with EDUCAUSE
Kore Technologies announced its corporate membership with EDUCAUSE as part of its ongoing commitment to higher education. "The decision to pursue a membership was a no-brainer," said Keith Lambert, vice president of marketing and business development. "The solutions we provide answer their [EDUCAUSE] Top 10-IT Issues for 2014."
EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit organization of higher education information technology professionals. EDUCAUSE provides the latest news, research, and best practices to its network through its digital and print publications and conferences. Kore Technologies plans to kick-off its 2015 "Road Show" this January at the regional EDUCAUSE Connect event in San Diego, Calif. Approximately 400 attendees are expected and more information will be released as it becomes available.
"We are a customer service-oriented company," added Mark Dobransky, co-founder and managing partner. "Events like EDUCAUSE Connect allow us to learn first-hand the challenges campus administrators face. The Top 10 IT issues identified by EDUCAUSE mirror what we have encountered in the marketplace."
Kore's technology solutions for higher education provide connectivity between campus management systems and third-party applications. Kore's predefined Operational Data Store (ODS) for Ellucian Colleague (U2 and SQL versions) stores data in one central location, which enables analytics and visual tools to deliver accurate insights. This information helps campus administrators recognize patterns in enrollment, financial aid, course schedules, etc. to make better institutional decisions.
