Pick Cloud Inks Reseller Agreement with AccuSoft Enterprises
Pick Cloud, Inc. has signed a reseller agreement with AccuSoft Enterprises to sell its line of AccuTerm terminal emulation products.
AccuSoft Enterprises was founded in 1980 as a supplier of Pick-based utilities and programs. The company has been a pioneer in the creation of business graphics and enhancements to the Pick operating system. It now specializes in GUI development tools and terminal emulations and connectivity products for the MultiValue market.
Pick Cloud aims to provide a fully managed, cloud hosted environment while at the same time preserving and rejuvenating MultiValue PICK applications through smarter processes and more efficient technology.
"AccuSoft has provided proven, industry standard terminal emulation products for decades. Signing the reseller agreement with AccuSoft is just the beginning of our cloud suite of products and services that provide our clients a way to enhance and extend their existing MultiValue investment," says Mark Pick, CEO of Pick Cloud. "MultiValue systems are just as robust and capable as they were when they were first developed."
According to Pick Cloud, the reseller agreement enables Pick Cloud to offer and leverage AccuSoft's GUI development tools as well as their connectivity and terminal emulation products. Accusoft's latest release, AccuTerm 7.1 (released in January 2013) includes support for Unicode (UTF-8): in the wED Editor, file transfers, in the GUI, in terminal sessions (green-screen) and via the OLE Automation interface.
