Badcock Home adopts a UniData Application (Storis Vision R8)

Retail technology supplier Storis Management said it has signed on Top 100 store chain Badcock Home Furniture more for its Vision R8 suite of products as the company's retail platform of the future.

"The history and culture of Badcock Home Furniture more's organization is both unique and impressive," said Donald J. Surdoval, Storis CEO. "It is apparent that their long history of success is a result of their deeply rooted core values, tradition, and leadership."

Badcock has more than 300 store locations in eight states and recently ventured into selling merchandise online.

"Our ability to treat customers right relies heavily on how quickly we can serve, check out and deliver the purchased merchandise to them," said Bill Pou, Badcock's executive vice president of retail operations.

"With Storis as our retail platform, we will have the tools to provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible."

In announcements earlier this year, Storis also that a number of other retailers had started using Vision R8 , including:

  • Honolulu-based Top 100 chain C.S. Wo, with 17 locations in Hawaii and California now live on the software.
  • Calgary Home Furniture in Calgary, Alberta, which went live on the Vision R8 SaaS (software as a service) suite of products in just under 30 days.
  • Garden furniture and fireside furnishings company Summer Classics, which has 12 locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain.
  • American's Mattress, a multi-store retailer based in Grand Junction, Colo.
