Resizing Files in Caché is no longer needed.  After you import your MultiValue data from your backup file using the MVIMPORT command, your files will no longer need to resized.

Caché uses an optimized b-tree structure for storing data in a sparse array.  This provides an additional benefit of this storage approach is that records are in ID order, not hash order.  When you use the LIST command, your data will be displayed in sorted order by ID.
