Every year fewer MultiValue systems live in isolation. In many businesses, even though the MultiValue system may run the core processing that keeps the business alive, the enterprise has a mix of information platforms for web stores, data warehouses, business intelligence processing, you name it.

We, the MultiValue Community, know that in most cases our platforms can do all that, too. But regardless of our opinions, the fact remains that part of our jobs these days is to work with non-MultiValue developers and find ways to share data in both directions.
